As an exclusively Post Acute Care facility, Wyndmoor Hills provides short-term patients with many advantages over a traditional long-term care and nursing center. Centrally located in close proximity to many area hospitals, we are the premier option for individuals following an acute care hospital stay.

Our dedicated focus on rehab ensures an unmatched level of aggressive therapies in a positive and upbeat setting. Rehabilitation is delivered 7 days a week and we offer specialized programs for individuals recovering from joint replacement surgery, fractures, stroke, COPD, congestive heart failure and other heart conditions. In addition we provide Hydro Therapy, a specialized aquatic program used to treat individuals with severe wounds or loose skin.

Our facility boasts only private suites guaranteeing patients their privacy and ensuring optimal comfort. Gourmet meals, prepared with the supervision of our in-house dietitian, can be taken in one’s room or in the main dining room.

Our dedicated staff members are noted for their compassion and attentive care. They are here to assist you along every step of the recovery process, and they do so with a smile.

Our approach to Rehab

Short-term rehab is our signature focus and we deliver an unparalleled level of specialized excellence that is hard to find anywhere else. We are not a nursing home, and that makes all the difference to the subacute patient looking to recuperate in an upbeat, fast-paced environment that singularly caters to his/her specific rehabilitative needs.

We excel in what we do and our patients benefit tremendously from our intensive daily rehab regimens and total attention. Our high caliber team of in-house therapists is hand-picked for their expertise. Unlike others, we don’t believe in outsourcing our therapy department; our patients have assured the continuity and familiarity of working with the same professionals throughout their stay. And after discharge, patients have the option of continuing on as an outpatient with the same therapists they have come to love!

As a transitional facility, we are determined to get our patients back on their feet as quickly as possible and don’t look for ways to prolong our patients’ stay. We are only a short stop between hospital and home. In fact, some of our patients have been rehabilitated in as short a time frame as one week! By formulating a goal-oriented plan of care for each individual, we promote independence and optimize physical functionality. Our end goal: to get you safely back the home you love.

What sets Wyndmoor Hills apart is our philosophy of care and customer service. We pride ourselves in our ability to get to really know and understand people, treating everyone as part of our own family. Our management team is available to speak to our residents and families through the duration of their stay and there is no need to schedule an appointment.  Having them serve as personal advocates on our residents behalf has proven to be enormously successful.

Daily rounds are conducted regularly by our Director of Quality Experience and our Administrator, who visit and interact with patients and families. They are continually looking for ideas and opportunities to improve the quality of your Wyndmoor Hills’ experience. 

  • Patient Satisfaction Surveys

Survey forms are distributed to our patients. They are passed along to our Admininstrator, and are reviewed to ensure that you are consistently satisfied.
